Scispot is a unified lab operations platform. This site documents the **REST API** used to automate Labsheets (LIMS), electronic lab notebooks, inventory manifests, sequences, and inbound webhooks.

Use the REST API when you build a programmatic integration or custom automation. Use the [Scispot MCP Server](https://docs.scispot.com/mcp-server.md) when you want an AI assistant to work with your Scispot workspace conversationally.
